A true Maldivian dinner to discover local traditions, under the stars surrounded by the palm trees of the tropical garden
We invite our guests to share in a starlit dining experience under the palm trees of the tropical garden. Traditional Maldivian dishes are cooked by our Maldivian chefs and with the participation of our guests so that the experience is not only culinary but also cultural. To complete the atmosphere, guests are invited to wear the traditional Maldivian sarong if they chose so. The restaurant is open to all our guests though reservations are required.

Chef description: Thusitha started his business life, studying computer science for two years. Very soon he realized that his passion lays somewhere completely different and he joined a culinary institute. After three years of schooling he worked in different international hotels in Sri Lanka before joinging Diamonds Resorts as commis 3. His passion and amibition was recognized by Chef Giacomo and gradually, Thusitha worked his way up to become sous chef. Influenced by a Thai chef he developed a taste for Asian, especially Japanese cuisine. The regional cuisine remains his forte, his wisdom of herbs and their aromatic flavours can be experienced in the extremely refind curries.
